- Consultant and Speaker for the companies Moria and Nidek, Dr. Appiotti has held courses and conferences from 1998 onwards in Italy, Spain, USA, India, Russia, Lebanon and Egypt.
- Author of scientific articles for two Italian magazines and an online journal (Ophthalmologist Journal OCCO).
- Member of the most important national associations; Apimo, Soi, AICCER; ASCRS, ISCRS, AAO and others.
