TLCT surgery: astigmatism correction
Made his debut as a plot in 1981 at 32 years of age in the “Regional Trophy” won the first place in the Piemonte Region category (max. 1,000 HP)
1982: Runnerup in Gentlemen’s Category Italian TT1
1983: Third Runnerup Endurance Category Italian TT1
1984: Ranked13th , 14th in the Assen World Championship (Holland)
During the following years he participated in the Italian Championship and in some of the World Championships; he passed from TT1 to the “F1” and on to the “Superbike”.
In 19998, after the regulations set the age limits to 50 years he participated for the last time in the Superbike World Championship at Misan, and achieved the 19th and 20th place in the classifications.
In 2000, 2001, 2002, besides the Italian Championship he competed in some Endurance World Championships in Italy, the Czech Republic and Spain, ranking in the top 25 of the classifications. Due to age limits also for the Endurance category he did not participate in the successive competitions.
From 2003 onwards he participated in the Superbike Italian Championship competing against pilots who were on the average 30 years younger.
The 2008 season saw him registered in the Championship with a new motorbike, the Honda.
He is not a pilot by profession, but an entrepreneur and director of the Faxiflora corporation, and handles the management of flower dispatches in Italy and worldwide. |
